I never even made it to Armstead Automotive because of the high quote I was given. I needed a new timing belt installed on my 2014 Chevy Cruze. I always get their cards in the mail, so I thought I would call them for a quote. I had called 6 shops before them and the quotes ranged from $650 -$752. Armstead quoted me $998! I can see a 20 or 30 dollar difference, but not $300. From now on I will be throwing their cards away.

Hi Charity, I looked into this for you and this is what I found. We priced you the full timing belt kit which includes the water pump and tensioner. When pricing the timing belt only our price is $451.76. Sometimes it can be difficult to compare pricing with out having a written estimate in hand to compare apples to apples.
