We all know how stressful it is when you have car troubles and need roadside assistance. Last night was one of those nights for me, and I could not have been any more pleased with the help I received. While at work, my car wouldn't start and a co-worker tried to jump my battery. It didn't work, so I thought it was a starter or alternator problem and was going to need a tow. My roadside assistance company contacted Armstead Automotive for me. The representative from my insurance company gave me a quote time of 40 minutes, but the driver, Caleb, was actually much closer to my location and arrived in less than 15 minutes. He gave me a phone call to let me know he would be arriving shortly. Once he arrived he asked me to run down what had happened, and he suspected that it was probably a battery problem and suggested we try jumping it one more time before loading it onto his truck, as his vehicle had more juice than the average car. It turns out my battery was dead, and I didn't actually need a tow. Caleb was able to jump the battery very quickly. He gave me his card for any future problems I may have, and asked if I needed anything else. I told him I needed to get gas before I went home and asked if it would be OK to turn the car off to do so. He offered to follow me to the gas station to make sure I got there safely. After I filled my tank he gave me a friendly honk and drove away. I wanted to publicly give your company and specifically Caleb the credit you so very much deserve. As I've already said, it's always upsetting to run into car troubles, but it's particularly distressing as a young woman in a dark parking lot with very little automotive knowledge. It was a great comfort to feel safe, secure, and to be treated with so much respect. Thank you for the great service! I will be keeping your card in my wallet for any future assistance I may need.
Thanks for the review!
