As a rule (in my experience) auto mechanics inspire mistrust, anxiety, heartburn. Not so, these guys. They are unfailingly courteous (try getting somebody at Midas to drive you to your appointment while they're working on your car), relentlessly thorough (I've watched them spend hours and engage multiple technicians in trying to nail down an intermittent, unpredictable problem) and, in my experience, totally ethical. And their business model, which appears to involve a pretty thorough inspection, works to the customer's advantage: they often find an additional problem, but it's a real one and they're upfront about its severity, urgency and cost. They're not the cheapest guys around, but they're certainly less expensive (not to mention more reliable and personal) than a dealership, and whatever premium they charge is amply worth it for the quality and manner of their work. They're a bit of an inconvenient hike for me, but I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Thanks for the awesome review David! We appreciate customers like you.
